Difficult, frustrating, taxing, mind-boggling, exhausting YET wonderful, amazing, fantastic 10 weeks!
I have learnt and learnt and have had my eyes opened to the WORLD of TECHNOLOGY. Never had I imagined that this World of Technology was so advanced. That teachers/educators have selflessly shared so much technology online and I have been missing all these all this while.
From Delicious till Anvill, ALL the tools I have been using and have been exposed to, have a role to play in my class. I would use a tool which is appropriate for the learning outcome I have. Each tool has its advantages and disadvantages. So choice is vital...every and all tools that I have been introduced to are important. Nothing can be deleted or ignored. As a teacher I need to be smart with my choice of tool.
SO, now WHAT?...
Is this the end...NO, it is just the beginning because now that I have this knowledge, what will I do?...
I feel the BEST way to show my gratitude to ALL who have shared with me is for me now to SHARE with OTHERS especially colleagues who are open to technology as well.
Being a recipient of this course is a great responsibility. In a way being accountable to all who have helped me during these 10 weeks is not an easy task but the best way of saying THANK YOU is to make sure that I progress on to keep using and enhancing my lessons with technology!
How to ensure this...I must find a partner who will monitor me...

till we meet again, Pam
Dear Pam,
ReplyDeleteI am very grateful for you being my classmate. It has been quite a nice course because you were in the class. See you some other time.
Daniel
Dear Daniel,
ReplyDeleteThank you and likewise as well.
Till we meet again...Pam
Dear Pamela,
ReplyDeleteYes, you are right, it's not over. I'd even say it'll never be over as long as the innovative spirit exists in the people, we'll be constantly looking for new and improved solutions in everything we deal with and also (!!!) our teaching. Besides, as some of the lucky guys could experience while doing the LoTi survey, there's so much room for improvement in authentic classroom technology use... yes, our journey has just begun!!! Thank you for being a wonderful classmate and friend! I do hope we continue to keep in touch and grow together!
Best wishes,
Alicja
Dear Pamella,
ReplyDeleteOur journey in webskills has finally come to an end. The journey, we started with mixed feelings of surprise and enthusiasm has taken us into new horizon of reflection and realization about new mode of teaching and learning. We are accoutered with the recent mode of teaching and learning thanks to webskills and especially Donna, our revered Instructor.
Finally, I agree with you, Pamella, that all the tools we came to know through webskills are fascinating, effective and innovative, we will be using them to bring the utmost teaching and learning out come inside and outside of the classroom.
Wishing you the best!!!
